UPA is serving up savings
Jan.18, 2010 – OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma-based company is “Serving up Savings” with its new workers’ compensation specialty program for restaurants.
Unisource Program Administrators (UPA) announces today the launch of a restaurant specialty program aimed at offering competitive rates to multi-unit fine dining, casual and fast food restaurants.
In addition to competitive rates, the restaurant program offers claim cost containment measures, workplace safety services and human resource solutions. A menu favorite for the restaurant specialty program is “UPAY-As-You-Go,” a payment solution where workers’ compensation premiums are paid on a pay cycle basis.
“Multi-unit restaurant owners benefit from this specialty program and ‘UPAY-As-You-Go’ because up-front workers’ compensation deposits are eliminated and payroll records are submitted to one company,” said Barbara Drollinger, UPA vice president. “With this program, there is also a focus on reducing an employee’s time off as a result of a work-related accident.”
UPA joined with Zurich in North America, RealTime HR and Claimetrics to develop the restaurant specialty program.
Restaurant owners can contact or have their agents contact Drollinger at 405-728-5116 or Barbara.Drolliner@UnisourcePA.com.
